Mr MARSHALL (Dunstan—Leader of the Opposition) (16:50): A supplementary: can the minister outline to the house what the government's plans are for the emergency department at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital?

SNELLING (Playford—Minister for Health, Minister for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Minister for the Arts, Minister for Health Industries) (16:51): It will continue pretty much as it is, but the relatively small number of presentations that are life threatening will, in time, go directly to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. I don't think I would be breaching patient confidentiality in saying there was a very high-profile serious trauma in the last day that happened down at West Lakes. In that case, the patient wasn't taken to The Queen Elizabeth Hospital but was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
