RANKINE (Wright—Minister for Education and Child Development, Minister for Multicultural Affairs) (14:24): Sir, I know he wants to muddy the waters, but I have outlined very clearly to this house that we received a copy of correspondence that went to the Parent Complaint Unit in late May. The very next day, we actioned that letter by referring it to the Minister for Police because that was the major concern expressed by the parents—

The Hon. J.M. RANKINE: The major concern expressed by the parents was a delay in charges being laid against this perpetrator. We actioned it straightaway.
