ADELAIDE OVAL
The Hon. I.F. EVANS (Davenport) (15:04): My question is to the Treasurer. Given the Treasurer's previous answer where he raised concerns about increasing debt, can the Treasurer confirm that the reason the government is looking at forward selling forestry plantations is to pay for the Adelaide Oval upgrade?
The Hon. J.J. SNELLING (Playford—Treasurer, Minister for Employment, Training and Further Education) (15:04): It has been be nice to get some questions. I have spent the last 12 months waiting for the member for Unley to ask questions about skills, ask questions about training. I have had more questions this question time than I have in the previous 12 months, and I welcome it. Thank you very much, member for Davenport. The state is undertaking one of the biggest infrastructure builds in the state's history. Of course we are going to increase the debt levels because we are rolling out the biggest infrastructure spend the state has ever undertaken.
