FROME BY-ELECTION
The SPEAKER (14:00): I rise to inform the house that I have received a resignation from the House of Assembly of the Hon. Rob Kerin. I have spoken to the Electoral Commissioner, Ms Kay Mousley, and, after consultation with her, it is my intention to issue the writs for a by-election. The writs are to be issued on 28 November 2008 for a by-election on 17 January 2009 for the seat of Frome.
