MAHER: Giving the honourable member as much leeway as I possibly can because it is great to see her, I am happy to say that I know that the federal government takes these things extremely seriously. As I outlined, the Dutch national, a convicted child sex offender, was due to play volleyball here in South Australia. The federal government did not allow a visa to be issued. I am sure that they take it seriously, and I look forward to a date when this can be progressed.
