MAHER (Deputy Premier, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Attorney-General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector, Special Minister of State) (14:57):</by>  I have said a number of times in this chamber that in terms of that element about beach management in that northern cell, I have taken ministerial responsibility. I expect that to continue for some time now and in due course to hand over to the new Minister for Environment and Water, Lucy Hood. Once again, I want to thank the honourable member for recognising the work that this government has done in terms of the biggest amount of sand put back onto West Beach in history in the 2024-25 financial year. I agree: it is a remarkable achievement.</text>
