LEE:</by>  An Adelaide mother recently reported health issues after moving into a Housing Trust property at West Beach, later discovering it had been used to manufacture methamphetamine. She states she was not informed of the property's history and experienced symptoms consistent with chemical exposure.</text>
        <text id="20251029730f03c23f8e4fdda0000561">In a separate case a 74-year-old woman was placed in a similarly contaminated Housing Trust home despite an independent report warning of danger to occupants. She remained in the property for months without relocation or support and only after media involvement were options discussed.</text>
        <text id="20251029730f03c23f8e4fdda0000562">These cases raise serious concerns about Housing Trust processes for remediation, disclosure and tenant safety. My questions to the minister are: </text>
        <text id="20251029730f03c23f8e4fdda0000563">1.&amp;#x9;What is the current process for identifying and remediating Housing Trust properties previously used for illicit drug manufacturing before they are reallocated?</text>

        <text id="20251029730f03c23f8e4fdda0000564">2.&amp;#x9;Are prospective tenants informed of a property's contamination history and the results of any decontamination efforts?</text>
        <text id="20251029730f03c23f8e4fdda0000565">3.&amp;#x9;What mechanisms are in place to ensure that concerns raised directly by Housing Trust tenants about unsafe or unsuitable housing are addressed promptly, without the need for media intervention?</text>
