MAHER (Deputy Premier, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Attorney-General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector, Special Minister of State): I have been advised: Each year the government tables a significant volume of annual reports in each house of parliament. It is not my practice to edit or remove pages from these reports prior to tabling. The document to which the honourable member refers was one page included amongst the 2021-22 and 2022-23 annual reports of the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal. It was included amongst the other pages of the report and tabled accordingly. I was subsequently made aware that the tribunal hadn't intended for this particular page to be tabled with the rest of the report. Following this, I asked my department to ensure processes were in place to review future annual reports for this issue in future. I have also corresponded with the presiding member of the tribunal and am advised that the tribunal has revised its processes. Further, I note that the Legal Practitioners (Disciplinary Matters and Fidelity Fund) Amendment Bill is currently before the council. This bill proposes to abolish to Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal and transfer its functions to the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
