Following an investigation, Detective Brevet Sergeant Mundy was charged with road safety related offences. On 1 July 2025 he entered a guilty plea to failing to comply with duties after an accident (Regulation 287, Australian Road Rules) and was sentenced in the Adelaide Magistrates Court. 3.
