MAHER (Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Attorney-General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector, Special Minister of State): In response to this question, I advised that I would check the year in which payments from the Victims of Crime Fund exceeded the revenue into the fund. I have been advised that since 2017-18, this has occurred in the 2017-18 and 2022-23 financial years. I am further advised that payments from the fund are expected to exceed revenues in the 2025-26 and 2026-27 financial years, as a result of the state government's commitment of $135 million over two years to the National Redress Scheme.
