The review will assess how current policing demands have impacted the DPM's original design and explore potential adjustments within SAPOL's existing resources to maximise benefits for employees. To ensure full objectivity and transparency, an external party will be engaged to conduct the review, including an evaluation of the benefits of reverting to the pre 2018 model.
