The government is working with industry associations on the issues that they are raising as a result of the algal bloom. To date, the Marine Fishers Association has been engaging with us in terms of the impacts directly related to the harmful algal bloom on behalf of their members. Both myself as well as my department and office are continuing to engage with the MFA. I am advised that no other industry associations have made requests for financial support on behalf of their members.
