          <inserted>The government takes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people very seriously. In addition to existing mandatory notification requirements and training for all department employees regarding protective practices and responding to risks of harm, abuse and neglect, the Department for Education has a range of policies and guidelines in place to address duty of care and to ensure the safety of children and young people.</inserted>
