The design and implementation of the Digital Police Station is currently being undertaken by the South Australia Police (SAPOL). I understand that there are a number of different tranches to the project owning to the complexity. The commencement of the legislation and the availability of the public register will therefore be dependent on the timelines for the project as advised by the SAPOL project team, and the Attorney-General's Department will continue to liaise closely with SAPOL in relation to these project timelines.
