          <inserted>1.&amp;#x9;Local health networks are responsible for setting and monitoring the full-time equivalent (FTE) requirements for their respective network.</inserted>
        </text>
        <text id="202502058102945e29484e5f80001099">
          <inserted>This includes the careful monitoring of vacancies and ensuring that these positions are filled in a timely manner.</inserted>
        </text>
        <text id="202502058102945e29484e5f80001100">
          <inserted>2.&amp;#x9;Local health networks have engaged with the private sector utilising the patient services panel (PSP) since July 2019, the commencement and length of any bed agreement varies depending on the service type and requirements of the LHN enacting the agreement.</inserted>

          <inserted>On average over 100 private hospital beds each day were used across the public hospital system over the last 12 months.</inserted>

          <inserted>3.&amp;#x9;SA Health has contracts which allow bed purchase arrangements with the following private hospitals through the patient services panel:</inserted>

          <inserted>9.&amp;#x9;Hours lost due to delayed transfer of care are measured from the ambulance's arrival at the hospital to the point when the patient's care is no longer the responsibility of SA Ambulance Service (SAAS) (beyond the first 30 minutes).</inserted>
