I don't think there's a blanket answer to that, particularly where something might identify someone who has been the victim of a particular crime, or where it would tend to identify a victim of another matter. There are often very good public policy reasons that names aren't released as it might cause further distress. But, as I said, there are abilities in most of our courts and tribunals for confidentiality and suppression orders to be made. In addition to that, there are conventions that often apply into the reporting of some things in our judicial system.
