          <inserted>The City of Charles Sturt is responsible for the day-to-day management of the West Beach to Henley Beach coast. This includes the safe collection and disposal of asbestos and any other rubbish found on the beach. </inserted>

          <inserted>The Department for Environment and Water undertakes a sand replenishment program. This includes replenishing West Beach with sand. Over the next 12 months, up to 200,000 cubic metres of sand will be delivered to West Beach. This will significantly reduce the likelihood that these small fragments are uncovered.</inserted>
