          <inserted>1.&amp;#x9;Can the minister advise how many individuals convicted and sentenced to a term of imprisonment or charged and awaiting sentencing, have been approved for voluntary assisted dying (VAD) since the legislation has come into effect. </inserted>

          <inserted>South Australia issues VAD permits only when very strict eligibility requirements are met. The law does not exclude a prisoner from accessing VAD, if they meet those strict eligibility requirements. We do not comment on individual cases.</inserted>
