MAHER (Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Attorney-General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector): I am advised by the Minister for Police: Between 1 January 2014 and 14 May 2024, the SAPOL Corporate Policy Unit received and responded to 93 subpoenas requiring production of general orders. SAPOL does not maintain a record of the number of refused requests. Between 1 January 2014 and 14 May 2024, SAPOL received 31 freedom of information applications for general orders. Over this period one application was refused.
