          <inserted>The Department for Environment and Water manages licences for teaching and research involving animals.</inserted>
        </text>
        <text id="20240502a2c26bc64c16445e90000530">
          <inserted>Section 13 of the Animal Welfare Regulations 2012 sets out the requirements for the annual reports by animal ethics committees. The regulations do not require the annual reports to include information on any specific project types that the AEC approves, this includes non-human primate use.</inserted>
