SCRIVEN (Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development, Minister for Forest Industries): The Minister for Police, Emergency Services and Correctional Services has advised: The total number of First Nations people working in South Australia Police is 86 employees (1.3 per cent). Of the 86, 72 are police officers (1.5 per cent), one is a police security officer (0.3 per cent) and 13 are employees (1 per cent). All of the police officer and police security officer positions are considered operational. The 13 employees (non-sworn) are not operational roles.
