          <inserted>1.&amp;#x9;This is an election commitment which, like all other election commitments falls within the remit of the Premier's Delivery Unit. </inserted>

          <inserted>2.&amp;#x9;The Premier has met with numerous stakeholders and interested persons about this topic.</inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>3.&amp;#x9;The government is fundamentally opposed to the practice of conversion practices which tries to change someone's sexual orientation or gender identity. </inserted>
        </text>
        <text id="20240409bc438981c4e84a3d90000576">
          <inserted>There are already several laws that protect LGBTIQA+ South Australians from conversion practices, in particular under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (South Australia) Act 2010<term>, </term>which regulates health professions, and the federal Competition and Consumer Act 2010<term>, </term>which prohibits misleading and deceptive conduct in trade or commerce.</inserted>

          <inserted>In line with the government's commitment to ensure conversion practices do not occur in South Australia, the government is currently considering the models in place in various jurisdictions.</inserted>

          <inserted>As committed to prior to the election, the government has also established an LGBTIQA+ Ministerial Advisory Committee, who provide important advice to the government about issues facing this community.</inserted>
