          <inserted>There are approximately 100 general practices paying payroll tax currently.</inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>I am advised that 283 medical practices have applied for the amnesty.</inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>Medical practices that successfully applied for the amnesty will not be required to pay payroll tax retrospectively on contracted general practitioners.</inserted>
