R.A. Simms to move: That this council— 1.	Notes that as at 8 June 2022, RSPCA Lonsdale has reported almost 100 dogs up for adoption as a result of pet owners not being able to find suitable rental accommodation with their pets. 2.	Recognises that landlords have greater rights than renters when it comes to pet ownership. 3.	Calls on the Malinauskas government to undertake urgent reform of the Residential Tenancies Act to: (a)	improve renters' rights with regard to pet ownership; (b)	address the housing affordability crisis; and (c)	address the housing vacancy crisis.
