          <inserted>Consultation for the review of the Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017 generated considerable feedback that the state government reflected in the review report and which has since been the subject of further discussion.</inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>The state government is committed to making changes to the child protection and family support system that help improve the lives of children and young people and their families. This includes making improvements to policy, practice and legislation. Ensuring this work is undertaken in a coordinated and collaborative manner is critical.</inserted>
