MAHER (Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Attorney-General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector) (14:51):</by>  I thank the honourable member for his supplementary question. As I said in the answer, it is not something I intend to do, that is, to take steps. That is the point of having the ICAC inspector, to look at those matters.</text>
        <text id="202309140f491f9aa2a349b4a0000139">As I have said, the ICAC inspector was satisfied that the actions taken by the current commissioner amounted to significant steps to remedy defects in the processes in the ICAC since the charges against Mr Hanlon were withdrawn. I think it was a very good decision. I know the honourable member was at the forefront of helping in the thinking that made the changes that created the ICAC inspector for these very reasons, to inquire into what ICAC has done, and that's what the inspector has done.</text>
