As I said before, I don't know all the circumstances that were before the court in relation to this case. But it is true that one element of sentencing and of the sentences that we as a parliament decide are appropriate for a particular crime is as a deterrent effect, to deter those from doing it in the future. As I said, I'm not privy to all the circumstances that led to the sentence in this case.
