SCRIVEN (Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development, Minister for Forest Industries) (15:03):</by>  I am not aware that my office has had a request for further information from the individuals concerned. Certainly, I am happy to check that. I think it's also really important to be aware that the damage that's done by feral deer means that we need to be very serious about the responses. The damage to the environment and the damage to agricultural production is absolutely significant.</text>
        <text id="20230912dd95b687bb9d48e1a0000179">Obviously, any incident where somebody is in the vicinity, unaware that a culling exercise is taking place, is regrettable. I have mentioned how it came to pass in this particular instance and also the mitigations that have been put in place to ensure that it doesn't happen again.</text>
