MAHER: What the honourable member suggested yesterday is that you should keep funding things exactly how they have been funded before; you should keep doing exactly what you have always done and not do anything different. I disagree. I don't think things are working as properly as they should, and listening to the people for whom government provides services, who come up with programs, about their views about how they should be done I think is a wholeheartedly good thing, and that is why every single member of the Labor Party nationally, every single member of the Labor Party in this state is in full support of the 'yes' campaign during this referendum.
