MAHER (Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Attorney-General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector): I have been advised: The SA Computer Aided Dispatch (SACAD) system comprises a number of layers of protection in addition to general IT controls. These include network segmentation and isolation, stringent physical access controls and rigorous personnel vetting. This level of protection significantly reduces the likelihood of a cyber incident in the SACAD environment affecting system function or data. The Attorney-General's Department is undertaking an external cyber-security review of SACAD. This review will inform the implementation of the recommendations contained in the Auditor-General's report.
