SAPOL's Licensing Enforcement Branch (LEB) contributes to the safety of public events through working closely with event organisers and/or licensees to ensure compliance, providing advice in the planning phase of a major event and attending events to monitor crowd behaviour and take action to prevent or respond to offences.
