Weed programs administered by the Department of Primary Industries and Regions The Department of Primary Industries and Regions administers several weed management programs. Building back better agriculture and land management This program has a total budget of $135,000 and is funded by the South Australian and Australian governments under national disaster relief funding until December 2022. Minimising losses from weeds in broadacre crops and permanent pasture This program has a total budget of $1.4 million and is funded by the South Australian government and by the Australian government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, Enhancing National Pest Animal and Weed Management Federation Funding Agreement until June 2027. Kangaroo Island Weeds After Fire Project This program has a total budget of over $1.2 million and is funded by the South Australian and Australian governments under national disaster relief funding until July 2023. 2.
