SCRIVEN (Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development, Minister for Forest Industries) (14:27):</by> I thank the honourable member for her additional questions. In terms of commonwealth financial assistance, we are subject to cost-sharing arrangements in the event of an outbreak of a number of different diseases, including those emergency animal diseases that have been mentioned. What that means is that, if there is an outbreak, all of the jurisdictions, regardless of where the outbreak occurs, participate in that cost-sharing agreement. There are a number of changes of focus within our department, where we have been able to make sure that there are appropriate resources for surveillance and preparedness activities.</text>
