The discussion paper was released by the Attorney-General's Department on 2 February 2021. Consultation closed on 1 April 2022. The government is considering the feedback obtained from that consultation. 2.	The government has commenced targeted consultation on coercive control. The government will be continuing with public awareness raising and community consultation throughout 2022 and 2023.
