MAHER (Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Attorney-General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector): The Treasurer has advised: 1.	The total taxation revenue received through the betting operations tax on an annual basis since its inception, as well as the forward estimates is outlined in the table below. The estimates from 2021-22 are consistent with forecasts contained in the 2022-23 budget. These will be updated as part of the 2021-22 final budget outcome and 2022-23 Mid-Year Budget Review, due for release later this year. A proportion of the revenue raised through the betting operations tax is returned to the racing industry to support its operation.
