CENTOFANTI: Last Friday, the minister announced on various radio stations that extra biosecurity measures will be in place at the Adelaide Show to guard against foot-and-mouth disease. The minister said on radio, and I quote: There's also going to be citric acid foot mats, sanitation mats at the entrances to the Show which people will walk over probably without even noticing, but that's just some of the things that people can do to make sure that we do remain free from some of these exotic animal and plant diseases. According to Minister Murray Watt, citric acid mats contain a citric acid solution and are designed to dislodge any dirt from the sole of the shoe and cover it in the acid. My question to the minister is: can the minister confirm that citric acid mats are indeed being used at all entrances to the Adelaide Show? The Hon. C.M. I think, if I recall correctly, I said at all the public entrances to the Show. There are different measures in place at those that are entered by the exhibitors, and there are other provisions such as boot cleaning facilities in those livestock areas. I think also in the quote that the honourable member referred to, I corrected myself to say sanitation mats. I think she read out that quote that there are citric acid mats, sanitation mats, so I corrected myself to refer to that. I am happy to check the exact composition of those mats that are being in use at the Adelaide Show and come back if I have anything else further to add.
