          <inserted>The funding of schools to provide period products to students has continued this year with the aim of reducing the barriers which some students experience to their regular school attendance. All schools with female enrolments of year 5 and above have been provided with this funding to provide period products to students. </inserted>

          <inserted>The Department for Education surveyed schools in term 3 2021 to hear their feedback on the initiative. Most schools indicated that the funding is being used and the amount is sufficient.</inserted>

          <inserted>However, the Minister for Education, Training and Skills has asked the Department for Education to provide him with further advice on the adequacy of the program and to consider your proposal.</inserted>
