          <inserted>In the three years from 20 June 2019 to 19 June 2022 424 individuals had at least one hearing with charges yet to be finalised for child sex offences. </inserted>

          <inserted>Of these 326, or 77 per cent were released on bail at their most recent hearing. A total of 246 of these matters were heard in the Magistrates Court, while 175 were heard in the District Court. The Supreme Court dealt with three of these matters.</inserted>
