          <inserted>South Australia Police (SAPOL) actively enforce drug driving laws through the random testing of drivers, the testing of drivers involved in vehicle collisions and drivers committing driving offences.</inserted>

          <inserted>In 2018, drug driving laws were strengthened with increased penalties and the introduction of a mandatory loss of licence for a first drug driving offence.</inserted>

          <inserted>The Statutes Amendment (Transport Portfolio) Bill 2020 is also currently being debated before parliament.</inserted>
