DARLEY (14:58): I seek leave to make a brief explanation before asking the Treasurer, representing the Attorney-General, a question about revaluation of properties on Kangaroo Island. Leave granted. DARLEY: Immediately following the bushfires on Kangaroo Island in January last year, the district council of Kangaroo Island made a request to the Valuer-General to review the capital valuations of all properties where the improvements on the land were completely or substantially destroyed, in accordance with section 15(1) of the Valuation of Land Act, so that the council could then provide ratepayer relief to owners for the period of January to June 2020. I understand the Valuer-General refused the request and will only adjust the valuation of these properties from 1 July 2020 rather than 1 January 2020, when the bushfires occurred. 1.	Can the minister advise whether the Valuer-General will reconsider this decision? 2.	Can the minister advise what action the Valuer-General has taken regarding the bushfires in Cudlee Creek, the South-East and, more recently, Cherry Gardens? The Hon. R.I.
