          <inserted>That it be an instruction to the Select Committee on Health Services in South Australia that its terms of reference be amended by inserting new paragraph 2A as follows—</inserted>

          <inserted>2A.&amp;#x9;That, during the period of any declaration of a major emergency made under section 23 of the Emergency Services Act 2004 or any declaration of a public health emergency made under section 87 of the South Australian Public Health Act 2011, members of the committee may participate in the proceedings by way of telephone or videoconference or other electronic means and shall be deemed to be present and counted for purposes of a quorum, subject to such means of participation remaining effective and not disadvantaging any member.</inserted>

        <text continued="true" id="202010145e930acc094a460bb0000455">This motion is the same as the number of other motions that have been put up in this place to allow for members of the health committee to participate in proceedings by way of telephone or videoconference or whatever other electronic means are deemed appropriate. It is pretty self-explanatory and straightforward, and I understand there is no opposition to it.</text>
