      <text id="20200723c19ceed53e76485880001461">The House of Assembly concurs with the resolution of the Legislative Council contained in message No. 43 for the appointment of a joint committee on the Statutes Amendment (Animal Welfare Reforms) Bill 2020 and will be represented on the committee by two members, who shall also form the quorum necessary to be present at all sittings of the committee. Members of the joint committee to represent the House of Assembly will be Dr Close and Dr Harvey.</text>
      <text id="20200723c19ceed53e76485880001462">The House of Assembly also concurs with the Legislative Council's resolution to suspend standing order 396 to enable strangers to be admitted when the joint committee is examining witnesses unless the joint committee otherwise resolves, but they shall be excluded when the joint committee is deliberating.</text>
