J.M.A. LENSINK (Minister for Human Services): I have been advised: Since March 2018 I have been advised of one allegation in a state-run disability care facility. The allegation was investigated by SAPOL and the department's Incident Management Unit and was not substantiated. I have not been notified of a person being convicted of rape that occurred in a state-run disability care facility since March 2018. I have been notified of a conviction of aggravated indecent assault by a Department of Human Services disability support worker. The worker was convicted in April 2018 for an assault that occurred in 2017.
