Minister, when did you first ask the Principal Community Visitor for any information they have about the tragic death of Ann Marie Smith? What obligations, particularly mandated, legislative obligations, does the Principal Community Visitor have to inform you of serious incidents or matters of concern?</text>

In relation to the Principal Community Visitor there was a range of discussions on the weekend in relation to some of the safeguarding issues that had arisen from this case. In her specific role, I think via the Attorney, we were trying to establish whether she was actually indeed a client of the Public Advocate, which as it turned out she was not. In relation to the original question, the honourable member might like to repeat that.</text>
