          <inserted>The intent of the independent review is to look into South Australia's preparedness for dealing with significant bushfire activity and what can be done to mitigate the impact of bushfires on our communities into the future. The review will have a broad scope with areas of focus on preparation, planning, community resilience, response and recovery. </inserted>

          <inserted>Due to restrictions surrounding COVID-19, Mr Mick Keelty AO lead inquirer has considered a modified approach to the independent review into South Australia's 2019-20 bushfire season. The changes to the review include the inability to hold public forums which therefore means Mr Keelty's fees will need to be adjusted accordingly.</inserted>
