          <inserted>An extensive statewide co-design process for the Child and Family Support System included a dedicated Aboriginal-led design stream. This process engaged Aboriginal people from a very wide range of nations at workshops held across South Australia, including Narungga and Ngarrindjeri representatives.</inserted>

          <inserted>The process was led by a highly skilled Aboriginal facilitator and empowered Aboriginal people to put their views at the centre of planning and design of the new system.</inserted>

          <inserted>This co-design process culminated in the development by these representatives of Aboriginal Co-Design Principles and Aboriginal System Design Criteria. These have been adopted by the government and are now guiding implementation of the Child and Family Support System.</inserted>

          <inserted>In addition, we have convened an Aboriginal Leadership Group, including Narungga and Ngarrindjeri representatives, to provide ongoing advice on the design and implementation of the system.</inserted>
