          <inserted>1.&amp;#x9;SA Health were advised that four state-run residential agedcare facilities were on heightened alert due to an influenza outbreak.</inserted>

          <inserted>2.&amp;#x9;SA Health's communicable disease control branch receives notification of influenza cases from both the diagnostic laboratory and treating medical practitioners.</inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>Direct patient care is not affected by any data entry backlog. There is a sufficient representation of the data entered into the system to allow for the identification of emerging trends and the implementation of appropriate policy responses and public health interventions.</inserted>

          <inserted>3.&amp;#x9;Diagnostic laboratories are reporting to the communicable disease control branch in a timely manner, within three days of detecting a positive laboratory test.</inserted>
