RIDGWAY (Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment): I have been advised: Applications for the role of the Regional Director, Americas (Houston) have now closed and the shortlisting of applications has commenced by the Department for Trade, Tourism and Investment (DTTI). A recruitment panel comprising three senior representatives from the South Australian government and one senior representative of the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) based in Houston will determine the preferred candidate and recommend an appointment. The Chief Executive, DTTI, will consider the process and panel's recommendation and endorse the selection.
