          <inserted>SeaLink's current licence to operate a ferry service expires in July 2024. The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (the department) is currently working through the early planning stages of the procurement process and options for future operating models to support an appropriate ferry service tender release time frame to market. All options for the provision of future Kangaroo Island ferry services are still under consideration.</inserted>

          <inserted>The tender assessment criteria will be outlined in future tender documents. Value for money for Kangaroo Island residents is a key consideration of any future procurement process.</inserted>

          <inserted>The department will fulfil its obligation under the Department of the Premier and Cabinet Circular PC27—Disclosure of Government Contracts. The department will not release information deemed commercially sensitive.</inserted>
