          <inserted>In response to part I—Yes, the executive director of the relevant division within the Attorney-General's Department (AGD) met with the Department of the Premier and Cabinet team conducting the review on behalf of the Minister for Police, Correctional Services and Emergency Services in early December.</inserted>

          <inserted>The meeting centred on a particular aspect of the review, i.e. SAFECOM's current support of, for example, the State Emergency Management Plan and related national emergency management policy frameworks.</inserted>

          <inserted>AGD will continue to assist this SAFECOM review as and when required.</inserted>

          <inserted>In response to part II—This is subject to the outcomes of the review and the extent to which it may be relevant to the state's emergency management needs.</inserted>
